The M4 / M5 Cashback Scheme introduced on 1 January 1997, is an initiative of the NSW State Government. Under this scheme, motorists driving NSW privately registered vehicles on the M4 and M5 Motorways can claim a refund of the tolls paid (excluding GST) from the NSW State Government. To get the benefit of the Cashback scheme, you need to establish a prepaid electronic tag account with E-way^® or any other tag issuer. Phone E-way^® on 1300 555 833 or visit their website www.tollpay.com.au for account application details.

If you claim Cashback, the RTA may monitor images of your vehicle taken by cameras located at the toll plazas for audit purposes.
