CUSTOMER SERVICE > TRAVELLED ON M4 WITHOUT PAYING TOLL? > CASH

Customers who do not have an Electronic Tag account must use the lanes labelled CHANGE GIVEN or EXACT TOLL only. If you travel in error through the non-stop electronic lanes marked you may report and pay for the unpaid trip by the following method:

Send a cheque or money order payable to Statewide Roads within 7 days of the trip, together with details of your name, address, vehicle registration number and date, time and direction of your trip.

The total amount payable is the toll plus an administration fee.

For a Class A vehicle (car or motorcycle) the total amount payable is $8.25.
For a Class B vehicle (heavy vehicle) the total amount payable is $12.10.

Post your payment and details to:

Statewide Roads
Locked Bag 267,
Silverwater NSW 1811

If payment is not received within seven (7) days of the trip, a Toll Notice will be mailed to the registered owner of the vehicle. The Notice will require payment of the toll and a $10 administration fee. It may be settled in cash or with your electronic tag in the manner specified on the notice.

Failure to pay the total amount due can result in the issue of a Penalty Notice from the NSW Infringement Processing Bureau with a fine exceeding $130 for each offence or prosecution.
